The Oja Festival took place on 6th and 7th May, 2017 in Constitution Club, New Delhi. Oja Festival is a culmination of series of initiatives in Ayurveda organized by Center for Civil Initiatives which is non-profit organization in association with www.nirogstreet.com, largest curated and certified online platform for Ayurveda Practitioners. Oja Festival has been inaugurated by Minister of Communication (IC), MOS Railways, Shri Manoj Sinha along with Shri A. Jaykumar, Secretary, Vijnana Bharati and Prof. Abhimanyu Kumar, Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda.
Oja Festival has been stalwart gathering of World renowned experts of Ayurveda for treatments of several ailments including Diabetes, Spondylitis, Joint Pain and other Hormonal issues. Interactive sessions were held on Modern Research in Ayurveda, Ayurveda and Agriculture, Quality Practice In Ayurveda and Clinical Practice in Ayurveda. Well known experts like Dr. Abhimanyu Kumar, Dr. Geetha Krishnan (Medanta), Dr.Tanuja Nesri, Dr. Pooja Sabharwal participated and shared their experiences and thoughts.
Addressing the need for adoption of Ayurveda and Yoga as part of lifestyle across the globe, Prof. Abhimanyu Kumar, Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda said “Wonders with Ayurveda & Yoga are beyond imaginations and the worldwide acceptance of the greatest heritage of our country is the need of a healthy world. Ayurveda has curable potential for even non curable ailments like Diabetes.’’
